"Can't I just do this myself?" This is a genuine question that I hear a lot! The best way I can respond to this is to pose these questions:


  • Is your event paying for catering? 

  • Are you paying a fee to hire the hall? 

  • Are you hiring chairs and tables? 

  • Have you paid for the band? 

If you have answered yes to any of the above it is clear you are putting on an event that you are hoping to be top quality, and a professional MC is a must to bring an event to life. If you are holding a charity event a professional MC such myself can keep the attendees engaged and entertained, which could possibly bring in more donations or higher bids on auction items.

HOW MUCH DOES AN MC COST

Great Question! Prices can vary significantly. Do you need me for an hour or for 4? Do you need me once off or once a month? Once you get in touch with me, I will be able to provide you with a quote with a guaranteed price for your event. My charge rate is very competitive but also reflects my 10+ years in the industry.

WHAT SORT OF MC ARE YOU?

I love being on the microphone and can't help cracking a joke (at the right time). I am young and super energetic, and I easily grab the attention of any crowd. I am anything but boring!

WHAT DOES THE MC DO?

It is my job as an MC to follow the run sheet and keep your event going, providing the energy to match whatever occasion it is I am hosting

WHO CREATES THE RUN SHEET

Generally speaking, the run sheet is created by whoever is organising the event or organising the on-stage part of an event. I am more than happy to have a look at your run sheet before your event and provide feedback. I am also able to be involved in creating the run sheet for your event, please mention if this is something you would like when booking so I can add this service to your quote.

I WANT MORE THAN 1 PERSON TO HOST MY EVENT

Sure, that is awesome, and double the Emcees = Double the fun! I can organise somebody to co-host your next event with me, just mention this when booking and I will add this to the quote.
